Dr. Neelima Ruparel is a Professor in the area of Marketing. A Gold medalist in marketing specialization, she attained her Doctorate degree in Management in the area of CRM. She possesses 18 years of academic experience at post-graduate level and corporate experience as a Product Manager at Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd. She has played a major role in institutional development and has organized many seminars, workshops and conferences. She has presented papers in International and National Conferences and has also published several research papers in different publications. Two of her research papers have been awarded with Best Research Paper Award at National level Summits.

She has to her credit a co-edited book on Management and Research Practices in Emerging Markets.

Moreover, she has been conferred with a Major Research Project of UGC on Organized Retailing in India with a specific focus on Career Opportunities for Youth.

Margie Parikh is a Professor at B.K. School of Business Management, Gujarat University, where she has been teaching since 1997. She is also a Visiting Faculty at the Creative and Cultural Business at IIM Ahmedabad. She has been a Visiting Scholar at Chinmaya Sankrit Vishwavidyapeeth. Her past positions are Adjunct Faculty (Centre for Heritage Management, Ahmedabad University), Adjunct Associate Professor (Faculty of Management, CEPT University). She has worked as the Manager (International Marketing) at Multimedia Frontiers Ltd , Marketing Executive at Tata Telecom Ltd., and Executive Assistant to the CMD at Transpek Industries Ltd. Currently her additional positions of responsibility include serving on the Board of Atul Auto Ltd. as an Independent Director, Membership of the Gender Neutrality Committee at the Infostretch Corporation (India) Pvt. Ltd. and membership of Internal Complaints Committee at the ESIC Model Hospital, Bapunagar. Her latest recognition has been Bhavans' Award of Excellence for her work.

Dr. Mamta Brahmbhatt is having more than 18 years of academic experience and at present she is serving as Associate Professor in Quantitative Techniques and Strategic Management area at B.K. Prior to joining here, she was associated with National Institute of Cooperative Management, Gandhinagar as Associate professor. She holds a doctoral degree in Banking Management. Dr. Brahmbhatt has published papers in several major international and national referred journals.

Her research papers have also been presented in several international and national conferences; few research papers have received best research paper awards. She is regularly involved in training research scholars at KCG Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat, GTU, GNLU Gandhinagar, NIFT Gandhinagar, and Centers of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. She has special expertise in data analysis and statistical methods.

Dr. Nilam Panchal is working as an Associate Professor (Finance) at B.K. School. Prior to joining School, She served at Institute of Management, Nirma University. She has 18 Years of work experience including Academics and Industry. She has been participant in various MTPs and FDPs at EDII, IIM Bangalore, IIM Indore, IIM-Noida, MDI to name a few. She has published good number of research articles in refereed national and international academic journals.

Dr. Panchal conducted EDPs /MDPs at various industries in Gujarat. She is recipient of Merit certificate, Education Department, GoG and various awards and Prizes for Best research papers, best performer and best teacher. She is a member of various associations like AIMS, BDMA, ITC and IARA. She is a Co-ordinator of PG Diploma Programme in Finance Management. She has developed E-Moocs 2 on various subjects of Economics, Commerce and Management for UGC-Swayam platform. She is passionate about teaching, research and training and has been engaging in enabling Individuals and Organizations through coaching, training and learning and development.

Dr. Mehal Pandya is an Associate Professor in the area of marketing and head of the department in Maritime Management at B.K.School of Professional and Management Studies. She holds a doctoral degree in Management in the area of Marketing. She has a more ten years of experience in the academic field. Dr. Pandya has published many research papers in Referred National and International Journals. She has presented research papers in National and International Conferences, with few as a key note speaker. She has participated in many FDPs, Seminars and Workshops. Having a flair for academic writing she has authored two books on Organized Retailing.

She is a board member in Board of Studies (Management), Gujarat University. She is a Coordinator of Gujarat University Start-up and Entrepreneurship Council (GUSEC) for Students Start-ups and Innovation Policy (SSIP) of Government of Gujarat.

Dr. Jay Desai has 12 years’ experience in the area of Industry and Teaching. Before joining academics he was employed with industry as Head-Equity Research with a leading Equity and Commodity brokerage house of India. He has taught core finance subjects like SAPM, Risk Management and Corporate Restructuring in MBA program of various universities. He has conducted more than 40 Executive Development Programs and many consultancy projects for industry. He has authored more than six books and thirty national and international research papers. He is also on the Board of Editors and Referee of International Journals of repute in the area of Management. He holds Doctoral degree in the area of Equity Markets.

Dr. Ankita D. Kathiriya is working as Assistant Professor at B. K. School of Business Management she has done M.B.A. with finance specialization and M.Com with Advance Accounting Specialization, she has cleared NET-JRF in Management as well as Commerce Subject. She has received five silver medal for being first at college level and university ranker.

She has started her career as Assistant Professor at SLPT MBA Mahila College Amreli then she has worked with S. R. Luthra Institute of Management Surat.

Her interest area is Financial Accounting, Cost and Management. Dr. Kathiriya has presented and published many research papers at national and international level conference. She has attended many workshops at State and National level.

Sonali Chatterjee is an Assistant Professor at Department of Maritime Management, B.K. School of Business Management, Gujarat University. She has more than 13 years of industry experience. Before joining academics, she was working as senior executive (Research) at SAKET PROJECTS LIMITED. She has also worked as a freelance reporter with Ahmedabad city Digest, a monthly magazine from Ahmedabad.

During her tenure in ‘SAKET’ she worked as an Associate Editor in three different Industrial Magazines i.e. PORTS AND INFRASTRUCTURE REVIEW, TEXTILE REVIEW AND STEAM & BOILER REVIEW since their inception and also as a part of Editorial team for the industry specific Handbooks - "PHARMA VISION 2025”, - COMPREHENSIVE FORECAST ON PHARMACEUTICAL and INDIAN TEXTILES 2015 : Comprehensive Compendium on Indian Textiles Industry in 2015 with an Exhaustive Buyers' Guide for Textile Machinery with an eminent economist and thinker. She has also worked as Assistant Editor in Saket Industrial Digest (SID), Construction Journal of India (CJI), a monthly from Ahmedabad, and in Indian Plumbing Today – IPT (published under a collaborative arrangement with Indian Plumbing Association (IPA)). She has coordinated more than 60 National Conferences across India.

Dr. Chatterjee has published articles and research papers in National & International journals. She has also attended various fora on different subjects.

Mr. Raghav Acharya has more than 8 years of Industry Experience before joining academics, he has started his journey as Radio Officer at VTS Khambhat, Master Control Station, Hazira, he has been with M/s Strait Shipbrokers (India Office) with profile of Ship Brokering Operations.

Mr. Acharya had also worked with Adani Hazira Port Pvt. Ltd, Hazira as a Marine Officer with vast experience in planning and executing shipping movement in port and other marine operations.

Mr. Suresh Yadav has more than 11 years of Industry Experience before joining academics,He had started his career as a Ground Duty Staff in the Aviation Industry at Ahmedabad. He had worked at APM Terminals, Pipavav in Dry Cargo Operations and at Adani Dahej Petronet Port Pvt Ltd, Dahej as Sr. Officer, Operations.

He has expertise in different operational aspects of port - like Stevedoring, Storage area planning, Cargo Movement Planning by Road or Rail for various bulk commodities and containers. Apart from the operational expertise he has good knowledge of MIS, Safety Culture in Industrial area and other managerial aspects.
