International Conference on Port and Allied Sector in the State Vis-a-Vis India and World: Emerging Opportunities and Challenges
Department of Maritime Management, B. K. School of Professional and Management Studies, Gujarat University had organized the International Conference Maritime 2019, with the theme “ Port and Allied Sector in the State Vis-a-Vis India and World: Emerging Opportunities and Challenges ”from 21st-23rd September,2019 at Senate Hall, Kandla International Container Terminal and Gandhidham Chamber of Commerce. The Chief guest of the Conference was Mr.Mansukh Mandaviya, Honourable Minister of State of the Ministry of Shipping and Minister of State in the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. The aim behind this International Conference was to enrich the knowledge of the students in the Port and Logistics sector. National as well as International speakers were a part of this conference. This interaction expanded the horizons of the students' and will help them in the days to come. Apart from it, the students were also taken to Kandla Port where they witnessed the operations of Ships and Containers. Cultural evening and City Heritage walk added feathers to this conference.
